Castles, called Oshiro (お城) in Japanese, are architectural structures that most certainly will impress anyone who visits. In the list of the most known castles, it is safe to mention Osaka-, Himeji-, Kumamoto-, Matsumoto-, Kanazawa-, and Shuri-castle.
